About Qiskit Fallfest @ PSUT

For the very first time in Jordan, Princess Sumaya University for Technology (PSUT) has been chosen to host a Qiskit Fall Fest — a global celebration of quantum computing, innovation, and community.

The Fall Fest is an international initiative by IBM Qiskit that empowers students and universities worldwide to organize events that bring together enthusiasts, researchers, and industry professionals to explore the rapidly evolving world of quantum computing. Out of over 1,500 universities around the globe, only 150 institutions were selected to take part in this year’s festival — and PSUT is proud to be one of them.

This milestone is more than just an honor; it is a recognition of the commitment of our students and faculty to foster cutting-edge knowledge, drive collaboration, and position Jordan as a rising contributor to the quantum ecosystem. By hosting the Fall Fest, PSUT not only joins an international community of innovators but also creates a platform for Jordanian students to learn, experiment, and lead in one of the most revolutionary fields of modern science.

Our vision goes beyond simply organizing an event. We aim to spark curiosity, empower students with hands-on experience, and create opportunities that will inspire future breakthroughs. With workshops, talks, and collaborative projects, the PSUT Fall Fest is a step toward building a stronger quantum community in Jordan and connecting our talents to the world.
